Lines We Cross is an episode of The Walking Dead starring Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, and Melissa McBride. The group in Oceanside continues to train in case the Whisperers return; tensions are high as the heroes struggle to hold...Sheriff Deputy Rick Grimes gets shot and falls into a coma. When awoken he finds himself in a Zombie Apocalypse. Not knowing what to do he sets out to find his family, after he's done that he gets connected to a group to become the leader. He takes charge and tries to help this group of people survive, find a place to live, and get them food. This show is all about survival, the risks, and the things you'll have to do to survive.

Some time after being shot on duty, Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes awakens in hospital to find it deserted with bodies strewn everywhere. He returns to his home to find it abandoned but believes his wife and son may still be alive. He meets Morgan Jones and his son Duane who explain to him that the world has been overrun with zombies (aka walkers). The disease usually started with an infection and high fever followed by re-animation. The creatures are attracted to sound and eat flesh to survive. Morgan tells him that he thinks there is a refugee center in Atlanta and Rick sets off in the hope of finding his wife and child. Once there, he finds himself surrounded by the undead with little apparent hope of escaping.....until he hears a voice over the radio.

The caravan of survivors find the road blocked by smashed-up cars and the cooling water hose of Dale's truck bursts. The group decides to stop to get fuel and supplies from the vehicles but out of the blue, a pack of walkers come in their direction. Dale stays in the top of the truck and the others hide below the cars. Sophia leaves the hideout too soon and two zombies chase her. Rick rushes after the walkers, reaches Sophia and asks her to stay hidden in the bank of a stream. When Rick kills the zombies and returns to Sophia, he does not find the girl anymore in the place. The group organizes a pursuit to seek out the girl.

The survivors have spent a difficult winter moving from place to place trying to stay clear of the walkers and constantly looking for food. Lori is now at the advanced stage of her pregnancy but it's obvious that she and Rick aren't getting along. When they notice a prison in the distance, Rick convinces them it may be just what they're looking for with the possibility of food and medicine being available. They have to fight their way in, eliminating a large number of walkers but they soon settle into a secure prison block. Several of them set off to explore the prison but are soon surrounded by walkers. They aren't the only survivors in the prison either.

The community in the prison has grown significantly and they are slowly becoming self sufficient. They are growing vegetables and raising pigs and soon will no longer need to go on food runs. For now, that's still a requirement and Glenn, Tyreese, Daryl, Michonne and several others go to a nearby army base to see what they can find. All goes well until a minor accident results in walkers dropping in on them. Back at the prison, Rick goes to check their trap line and comes across a woman who says she and her husband haven't eaten for four days and would like to join their camp. Rick is wary and, as it turns out, with good reason.

Rick and the others are still prisoners in the boxcar but the time of reckoning has come. They prepare to take on their captors by making weapons from whatever they can find and just wait for them to open the boxcar door. Those in charge however are one step ahead of them. Not far from Terminus Carol, Tyreese and baby Judith hear gunfire and soon after overhear someone talking about Michonne on his walkie talkie. They tie him up and while Tyreese says behind to keep an eye on him, Carol heads off to Terminus to save her friends.

Rick and the survivors find a quarry with thousands of walkers blocked by heavy trucks, and he begins to plan how to take them far from their community. Rick is supported by Deanna but the reluctant Carter unsuccessfully plots a scheme against him. While training the group, one of the trucks falls off the cliff letting the walkers escape and the plan needs to be immediately put into action without much preparation. Daryl on his motorcycle and Sasha and Abraham in a car herd the walkers through the road to a distant point far from Alexandria. Will Rick's plan work?

After torturing Rick's group, Negan kills two members and takes the shocked Rick for a ride in the van. Negan tries to show power over Rick and subdues him. When they return, Negan feels that has not totally broken Rick and demands an extreme act from him; otherwise, the other survivors will die. What will Rick do?

Drug addict Nick Clarke (Dillane) sees his friend Gloria eating another man in the drug den where he is staying, frightening him and causing him to run into the street and be hit by a car. His mother, Madison (Dickens), and his stepfather Travis Manawa (Curtis) go to the hospital where he is under close watch by the police. Madison is the guidance counselor of a high-school where her daughter Alicia (Debnam-Carey) is a student and Travis is one of the teachers, and they return to school as normal. Nick flees from the hospital and Madison and Travis later seek him out. Travis goes to the place where Nick claims that Gloria has eaten a man and he finds gore in the spot. Nick contacts his friend and drug dealer Calvin that tries to kill him. They fight and Calvin dies with a shot. Nick calls Travis and he comes with Madison to meet him. When they go to see Calvin, they see him up and walking around, but soon they learn that something is really wrong with Calvin. They watch in disbelief ...

Nick brings his family to Strand's yacht in an inflatable rescue boat. Chris grieves his mother and blames Travis for shooting her. Meanwhile Alicia uses the radio and makes contact with a stranger called Jack despite the warning of Strand. Out of the blue, Strand finds that a speed boat is coming in the direction of his boat. Who might be the crew?

The sequel was filmed using Swedish actor Bo Swensen, and a Final Chapter triquel told of Pussers' demise. While the Walking Tall franchise will never be on any list of Classic Film, the original is a great slice of Americana, Circa ྂs. It made Bakers' career and perhaps kicked the 'southsploutation' genre of that decade into gear.
